Insulin is life to those with diabetes

R.J. is the father of two who lost his job, his car, his housing and his insulin. He lives in a shelter and has no access to his medications right now. He’s been off his insulin for almost a month and the complications of diabetes are beginning to show – blurry vision, pain in his legs and feet, and an inability to find his way out of a critical situation.

R.J.'s story is one of many that educators at the Diabetes Partnership hear every month from those who have a critical need for insulin. A donation of $300 will give them the insulin they need for the month until they can work through their situation. All donations, small and large will help R.J., and others like him, to get the life-giving medication he needs.
